Mechanical Service Technician
Job Summary
The Mechanical Service Technician is responsible for providing support to existing and new car wash operators as part of our field service team with a focus on car wash equipment.
Responsibilities:

Resolving mechanical equipment problems and improving service methods to increase the productivity and level of customer service.

Meeting the preventative maintenance equipment requirement schedules for our customers

Maintaining a safety mindset at all times while meeting all Company, industry and regulatory safety requirements.

Handling customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally in support of customer service excellence and ensure repeat customers.

Maintaining strong relationships with vendors and contractors.

Maintaining a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring the company's adherence to these regulations. Remaining current on the industry's standards and new innovations, materials, tools, and processes.

Assist with maintaining our wash chemical and equipment parts inventories in our warehouse
Requirements:
-
Field Service experience with the installation and/or repair of industrial equipment.

Mechanical engineering technician or technologist educational background is an asset.

Proven exceptional communication, and customer service skills.

Computer literacy and good organizational skills.

Strong problem-solving skills.

The ability to work under pressure and handle stress.

Ability to read & understand equipment breakdowns & drawings.

Required to travel on a regular basis throughout southern, eastern and central Ontario with some overnight travel required. Overnight travel on installations could be 4-5 nights (Monday to Friday) as required. Overnight travel could be 1-2 nights on some service work as required.

Location – Office and warehouse home base in Barrie, Ontario with travel to customer and supplier sites throughout Central, Eastern and Southern Ontario
